LENT

 Lent is a time to follow in the footsteps of our Lord as He heads towards the pain and suffering of the cross and after that victory over death on Resurrection Sunday.

During these 40 days, it is our privilege to participate in the suffering of Christ so that we may also participate in His victory and resurrection.

This entails making a sacrifice through prohibition (giving up something) as well as active participation (in prayer and the Word).

To help one another in this endeavor, we will be posting daily Bible verses on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

As we meditate upon His Word, I pray that we will all reach our goal in Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday!
